DetectIT Tech Tip : Emailing Reports
The new Smart Security Console module includes a feature which allows Administrators to email reports. Once a data collection job is run and the output format for the report is defined (txt, HTML, etc.), an Administrator has the additional option to email the report to one or many recipients.
The first time the Administrator chooses an output format and email address, this decision can be stored for the future by using the ‘Reporting Favorites’ function in the Console. This saves the output format and email http://www.safestone.com/wp-content/uploads/safestone-announceaddress “preferences” for use the next time the report (or any other report) is generated.
