Privacy Policy

Safestone Technologies values your right to privacy. We intend to give you as much control as possible over the personal information that you may reveal to us during your visit. When you visit our Web site, we collect two kinds of data:

  • Anonymous statistics collected as you browse the site
  • Personal information that you knowingly give us.

What information does the Web site gather?

In general, you can visit Safestone on the Web without telling us who you are or revealing any information about yourself (such as your e-mail address). Please be assured that we do not collect personal information from you unless you provide it to us. As you browse the site, our Web servers collect general information and we screen statistics such as:

  • How many people visit our site
  • Which pages people visit on our site
  • Which browsers people use to visit our site
  • From which domains our visitors come from (e.g., aol.com)

None of this information is associated with you as an individual. We analyze this data to improve our Web site, to monitor its performance and to make it easier for you and others to use.

Personally Identifiable Information

There are times, however, when we may need information from you, such as your name and address. Personal information supplied by users who download (information) from the Web site belongs to Safestone and will not be made available to any other company in this personalized form. It is our intent to let you know before we collect personal information from you on the Internet.
If you choose to give us personal information via the Internet that we or our business partners may need, it is our intent to let you know how we will use such information. If you tell us that you do not wish to have this information used as a basis for further contact with you, we will respect your wishes. We have implemented these practices for the Safestone Web site. We intend to protect the quality and integrity of your personally identifiable information.

We have implemented appropriate technical and managerial procedures to maintain information that is accurate, current, and complete. We will make a sincere effort to respond to your requests to correct personal information inaccuracies in a timely manner. Please note we may disclose personal information when required by law or when necessary to protect the safety of our employees, customers or property.

Cookies

There are various technologies, including one called “cookies”, which can be used to provide you with tailored information from a Web site and keep track of your order as you (order services and download information). A cookie is an element of data that a Web site can send to your browser, which may then store it on your system.

Some Safestone pages use cookies or other technologies so that we can better serve you when you return to our site. You can set your browser to notify you when you receive a cookie, giving you the chance to decide whether to accept it. Users can delete Web site cookies if they wish.

Most Internet browsers allow you to erase cookies from your computer hard drive, block all incoming cookies or receive a warning before a cookie is stored. You will need to check your browser to establish the options available to you.

However, you need to be aware that even after cookies are deleted, some Web site/adserving companies can re-establish your browsing history if the same site or some other site tracked by the adserving company/network is re-entered on another occasion and the user specifically provides personal data. The visitor must continue to either decline cookies or opt-out each time it re-enters the site to keep the tracking severed as deletion of cookies alone does not prevent adserving companies from re-establishing a visitor’s history.

Opting-out erases the ID cookie unique to each user hence disabling Web sites from identifying your computer. Instead, a new anonymous, non-id cookie is assigned which prevents a Web site from tracking your path.

Users can have their browser advise them each time a Web site attempts to send a cookie to their system. If you have any questions or comments about our privacy practices, you can contact us at
